How difficult is it to set up the Autodarts software?

Absolutely straightforward. Thanks to our exclusive Hofer-Darts configuration, you don't have to write a single line of code. As soon as you turn on the Raspberry Pi, it opens its own Wi-Fi network. You simply connect with your smartphone, enter your home Wi-Fi details, and the system is ready to go. Real plug & play technology for your living room.

Do the camera mounts fit every ring light?

We offer specialized mounts for the two most popular systems: the Winmau Plasma and the Target Corona. Since the mounting points for these rings differ, you can simply select your model when purchasing your set or spare part. This ensures a rock-solid fit and the perfect viewing angle for the cameras.

What is the advantage of the Hofer Darts complete sets compared to building your own?

Time, security, and maximum freedom. While many other solutions are based on old, bulky PCs that must be hardwired to a monitor, we rely on a compact, powerful Raspberry Pi. This means for you: No extra screen needed at the dartboard. You can control your Autodarts system conveniently from any existing device – whether it's a smartphone, tablet, or laptop.

Do I need a special dartboard for the system?

In principle, Autodarts works with any standard bristle dartboard. However, for maximum precision, we recommend a board with thin wiring (such as the Winmau Blade 6), as this reduces bounce-outs and optimizes image recognition. The Blade 6 is already included in our Pro-Set, so you can start right away under professional conditions.
